Why Give?Make a Difference
Your gift helps bring Legacy Lab RI's Saturday School to more children; funding scholarships for families who need them, building out curriculum like Passport to Africa, and putting real, hands-on history into kids' hands.
Be Part of the Solution
Join a growing community of Providence parents, educators, and neighbors working to make sure every child has access to a history that reflects who they are.
Inspire Others
When you give to Legacy Lab RI, you show your friends, family, and colleagues what investing in Black history education and youth empowerment looks like, and invite them to do the same.
Frequently Asked Questions-
Not yet. Legacy Lab RI is not currently a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so donations aren't tax-deductible at this time. We're working toward establishing a nonprofit arm to support our community programming, and we'll let supporters know as soon as that status changes. In the meantime, every gift goes directly toward scholarships and program access for families.
